Women’s Council
The Women Council is a ministry of service (stewardship) to the parish and community. It is an extension of the Pastor and Parish Family to individual parishioners, families, children and the larger community.
The Women Council sponsors and coordinates activities such as: An Easter Egg Hunt for the children, the Parish Family Christmas Dinner, an Angel Tree drive that collects gifts for parish children who need help at Christmas, provides meals for the needy at the Soup Kitchen, co-sponsors the Parish Family Fun Day, helps with the Heritage Banquet, a parish fund-raiser, and holds monthly Bake Sales to help fund these projects.
The Women Council also sponsors an annual Women Celebrating Women (WCW), a ticketed event now in its tenth year. It is an event that celebrates women of all faiths, ethnicity, and cultures.
The Women’s Council meets the 3rd Monday of each month at 5 pm in the Parish Hall.
